NDC leadership in Geneva for Socialist Conference

A high-powered delegation of the ruling party in Ghana, the  National Democratic Congress (NDC), are currently in  Geneva to attend a Council Meeting of the Socialist International (SI) Forum  which is taking place d between July 01, 2016, and July 03, 2016.

According to a press statement issued in Accra and signed by Mr. Koku Anyidoho, a deputy general secretary of the pary, the delegation,  was led by Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary of the NDC, includes,  Hon. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, Vice Chairman/Director of Elections, Mary Awusi, Parliamentary Candidate for Asante Akyem North, and Dr. Karl Max Arhin, Deputy Director of International Relations.

He explained that , some of the  member parties of the SI Forum that are participating in this year’s conference, include, the CPC of China, the CPC of Cuba, FRELIMO of Mozambique, SWAPO of Namibia, Labour Party of UK, SDP of Denmark, SDP of Germany , SPSOA of Spain, and the governing Social Democratic Party of France.

The SI is an Association of all Progressive Parties worldwide, and the NDC is a leading member on the African Continent. The delegation is expected back on, July 04, 2016.
